We exist to bless your life using our expertise and experience to RESTore the gift of RESTful sleep and to see you RESTrengthened to fulfill your life’s calling
For the last 16 years she has practiced Sleep Medicine exclusively and spent the last 12 years growing the largest pediatric sleep center in the four-state region around Kansas City. More important than her medical experience however is her passion to address the complexity of managing patients with sleep disorders as a chronic illness in a comprehensive way. While most Pulmonologists who are Sleep physicians focus solely on sleep disordered breathing, which she has the expertise to do by managing the complexities of assisted respiratory devices such as CPAP, BiPap, and advanced modes of non-invasive ventilation, she more importantly recognizes that poor quality sleep is multifaceted. Many patients have more than one sleep disorder that must be identified and managed as well and frequently are associated with other complicating psychosocial and environmental factors which must be recognized and addressed.
Dr. Perry’s commitment to caring for the whole-person mind, body and spirit is what makes her care comprehensive and outstanding. She is known as an excellent listener and sees her patients as partners in finding solutions for their sleep problems. She is committed to finding the healthiest solutions to your problems by weighing risks and benefits within a respectful ongoing conversation. Dr. Perry prefers behavioral solutions over prescription medication when possible and closely follows up when appropriate. She is committed to educate patients thoroughly about their sleep disorder and treatment options.

Practice Values &
Philosophy
At Perry Center for Pediatric & Adult Sleep Care - Kansas City, we use our expertise and experience to restore the gift of restful sleep and to see you re-strengthened to fulfill your life's calling.
Our values and philosophy of practice includes:

-
Respect of time. We respect your time and seek to optimize the effectiveness of each appointment.
-
Doctor-Patient Relationship. We view the doctor—patient relationship as sacrosanct. Within that relationship trust forms the basis for honest and thorough discussion around your health concerns.
-
Listening. Listening is central to effective diagnosis of complex health issues and focused attention to educating patients around their treatment.
-
Access to care. We strive to maximize patient’s access to care through our practice policies and the pricing of our services.
-
Continuity of care. Often younger patients must find an adult physician when they leave adolescence. We provide that continuity to help maintain our patient’s quality of life during life’s transitions.
-
Flexible care. Our office sessions are frequently conducted via a telemedicine mechanism. We have found this approach highly effective, but offer in-office visits when needed.
-
Streamline service. We function on a cash basis. This approach allows for more affordable care and better service.
